Longan

Longan is a small, tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia, often likened to a lychee in both flavor and appearance. Encased in a thin, translucent skin that ranges from light brown to golden, longan reveals a juicy, pearly white flesh with a sweet and mildly floral flavor.

Ripeness Guide- The fruit is typically ripe and ready to eat when picked, but an unripe Longan will have a greenish tint to its skin and taste a little stale and dry, and a ripe longan will be a golden brown, extremely sweet and juice.
